Multi-touch mobile phone wars : round 2
- Round 1: iPhone 2G (3G) vs BlackBerry Storm
- Round 2: iPhone 3G (3.0) vs Palm Pre
So tomorrow kicks off yet another battle of the smartphones where Apple announces it’s latest goodies at WWDC at Moscone West in San Francisco, just days after Palm re-invents itself for the third (and probably final time) with the Pre. I have always been of the opinion “horses for courses”, for me what works in the enterprise does not fit the bill at home (this is not just a technology issue, but convenience too – do I really want my work number/e-mail whilst I am running after my kids on the weekend?)
