A while back I was looking for a plug-in application to assist with adding Outlook 2007 contacts, remember how Outlook Express had this type of functionality enabled out of the box? Anyways I spotted a post over at Channel 10 and knew immediately that my prayers had been answered! It seems an application called “gwabbit!” semi-automates this process really well, now also available on BlackBerry!

I’m particularly excited about SCSM, for me this is the glue that joins Microsoft’s management toolset (System Center) together. I am extremely cautious how much information I can personally disclose given that I am a part of the technology adoption program, therefore I would like to draw your attention to a post on Techlog, the author attended the 2009 Microsoft Management Summit.

The OCS Team have just posted a great article explaining how the new conferencing functionality works in OCS R2, personally I am over the moon that this feature has been enhanced. A number of organisations today spend big money on “meetme” style telephone conferecing, given that this functionaity is now available in R2 this alone should make an excellent business case for anyone looking to deploy this technology in today’s tough times!
