Microsoft due to release out-of-band security updates tomorrow

Microsoft is due to release two out of band security patches tomorrow (28th July 2009), these are specifically designed to address:

Bulletin ID Maximum Severity Rating and Vulnerability Impact Restart Requirement Affected Software

Internet Explorer

Critical
Remote Code Execution

Requires restart

Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer

Visual Studio

Moderate
Remote Code Execution

Requires restart

Visual Studio

When Microsoft chooses to release out-of-band patches it is usually recommended (due to severity) that you follow suit by also considering these for an earlier than planned deployment schedule.
