SlingPlayer for iPhone may be here at long last (and even run on the Classic Slingbox too!)

When I heard some time back that the SlingPlayer was being released on the iPhone I was excited and so was the rest of the Sling community! But then came Apple and AT&T and the wait began….just when I thought it could get no worse SlingMedia decided to pull support for older Sling boxes (Classic, Tuner etc.) There was uproar!
Tonight the wait may be over and the SlingPlayer app could be released and with Classic support too, with one drawback no 3G support. Apple are clearly being held ransom to AT&T and the large networks to keep data transfer to a minimum.
