In a recent announcement made by MSN’s Peter Bale, Microsoft plans to start a Spotify style music service. They are currently in the process of working out business models (something that I fail to really get my head around when it comes to free music streaming!). It should be live by late July and I look forward to experimenting!

Over the past week, there have been many rumors surrounding RTM.
We are close, but have not yet signed off on Windows 7. When we RTM you will most certainly hear it here. As we’ve said all along, we will RTM Windows 7 when it’s ready. As previously stated, we expect Windows 7 to RTM in the 2nd half of July.

Windows 7 information is just flying in right now, the latest is more news on Windows 7 E (the EU version that has no web browser), ridiculous if you ask me! So how is this going to be delivered and what do you do if you want to add a browser if you don’t have one in the first place? These are all good questions, with great answers at the Windows Blog.

Last week I posted that the Windows 7 RTM was looking as though it may be delayed, I based this on a number of reports, including posts made by Mary-Jo Foley and Geek Smack. However a recent report made by Geek Smack suggests that the final version (build 7600) has been compiled and will officially be announced tomorrow as RTM.
Fingers crossed!
Update: With all of todays WPC09 keynotes over the 7 RTM announcement looks more likely for tomorrow (especially as tomorrow’s keynote is to be delivered by Steve Ballmer)
